Which program board(s) do you oversee and what is an example of their events?
The Programming and Campus Events Board (PACE) –we host more than 50 campus events each year! Examples include: Fall week of welcome (also known as MSU Debut), trivia nights, motivational speakers, contracted entertainers such as magicians, comedians, and hypnotists, and our all-time favorite… the annual Spring concert hosted with the advisement of Babco Entertainment!

What is your favorite part of your job?
Working with students! I wake up every day excited to go to work. The students that I advise challenge me to think critically and I learn just as much from them as they learn from me. They keep me on my toes and in the loop regarding current trends in college student life, campus programming, and beyond. #bigmood

What is your advice for students when it comes balancing school and programming?
Always remember that you are a student first!  Your advisors want you to prioritize your success in the classroom, but we also know that your experiences outside of the classroom are just as important.  Your position on your college programming board will provide you with unique opportunities to develop transferable skill-sets that will help you excel in whatever your next endeavor is.  Use this time to challenge yourself, take risks, and prepare you for your future!
