Vintage Days – Fresno State’s largest student-planned celebration that attracts 50,000 guests for three days of food and game booths, live entertainment, arts and crafts, a beer and wine garden, college night, movie showing and much more!
Homecoming Executive Board – Our team plans the events and activities that lead up to the Homecoming football game each October; from the Fired Up By the Fountain Kick-Off, Pawrade, outdoor movie to the Big Show concert and everything in-between!
What is the last Leadership Book you read?
Leading Matters: Lessons from My Journey by John L. Hennessy.
What advice do you have for students trying to balance school and involvement?
Remember you are a student first. Your advisors understand that and will work with you, just be open and honest with them on what is going on. Try not to get overly involved. It is hard for you to truly commit to an organization and you will not enjoy the experience as much. Find organizations that you are passionate about and you will love what you are doing along with feeling like you are making an impact. Lastly, take care of yourself. Do what you need to for self care. It is okay to say no, the organization will find a way to do what is needed.
