Congratulations to DOECHII for winning Best Rap Album during the 67th annual Grammy Awards! Read more below.
This win was one of the monumental moments from the 2025 Grammy Awards. Historically, the category has only had two women to win the honor – Lauryn Hill (1997) and Cardi B (2019) who presented the award this year, making Doechii the third woman to take home the honor in the show’s history. Doechii went on to give an encouraging speech during her acceptance, nodding towards black heritage and telling everyone “Anything is possible. Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you.”
Doechii is a rising Hip-Hop/Rap Artist from Florida (Swamp Princess) who also was nominated for Best New Artist.
