Arkansas native Matt Stell is a country music singer and songwriter. While in college Matt was a basketball standout but he also taught himself to play guitar and sing. After practice he would moonlight at local venues under a fake name and once he finished grad school he started writing with Red Dirt stars like Casey Donahew. He made waves with songs like “Whiskey Baby” and “Small Time Love” but his big break didn’t come until 2019 with the song “Prayed For You”. The single spent two weeks at number one, has over 270 million streams and is one of NSAI’s “10 Songs We Wish We’d Written”. His newest EP “Better Than That” is out now.
