Nyle DiMarco is a model, advocate and sometimes dancer who also is a part of the deaf community.
Nyle’s passion is to empower people and audiences to believe they can do anything they want in life — and he is a pure example. Nyle was born deaf, and grew up with an entirely deaf family. He learned ASL (American Sign Language) at a very young age, furnishing him with the tools he needed to navigate life as anyone else.
Nyle’s list of accomplishments include winning America’s Next Top Model (season 22,) winning ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (season 22,) being a creative collaborator on The ASL App, (created by deaf signers to teach ASL.) Nyle is an advocate for the deaf community, passionate about language and literacy, which is why he is a spokesperson for LEAD-K (Language Equality and Acquisition for Deaf Kids,) and founder of Nyle DiMarco Foundation. The list continues, so we will end with how Nyle’s mindset of his deafness being “an asset, not a limitation,” is inspiring. Nyle is simply, amazing!
