How many events do you program in a year?  Anywhere from 30-36 a semester – approx. 65 a year

What tools do you use internally to communicate and keep everyone on the same page? Just email & private Facebook page – testing out some new options for task management tools

What kind of activities do you do as a board to promote team bonding? Retreats & holiday parties – our end-of-year wrap up at a nearby resort is our favorite – we kayak on the lake, ride bikes, and plan the fall semester

What is your largest event of the year? There are a few large campus events that we co-sponsor: the annual Org Fair & Spring Sing that get just about the entirety of campus out to them.  But the last couple of years, it has been our Fall concert, but Wesleyan’s Got Talent, Big Bingo, Casino Night, and our DIY night series (Room Decor, Ceramic Mugs, Bob Ross Paint Night, Tie Dye) are some other favorites!

What is your most successful program? Big Bingo is by far our most consistently well-attended event — it is a campus tradition and runs like a well-oiled machine. It always draws a crowd – we have even added a bingo night to Homecoming weekend the last couple of years to allow alumni to come back and participate too.

If your program board formed a band what genre would it perform under and what would it be called? Why?  I think we’d be like Coffeehouse/ Easy Listening because we are very laid back and relaxed.
