Oprah Winfrey is a television producer, author, actress, philanthropist and basically just an entertainment icon.Oprah Winfrey became the first African American Woman to host a national television talk show in 1986, which ultimately aired for 25 seasons and eventually led to her OWNing her own TV network. (Get it? Her network is called OWN, for Oprah Winfrey Network.) This phenomenal woman is also known for being an actress, especially for her roles in the movie, “The Color Purple,” and TV show “Greenleaf.” As her list of accomplishments and roles continues, let’s just sum it up with the fact that Oprah was (also) the first African American female BILLIONAIRE, and held the title for 3 years. That’s just… amazing. Oprah is very generous and humble with her earnings as she is involved with multiple charities, organizations and other philanthropic dealings. #YouGetACar #WomensHistory #WomenInEntertainment #WomensHistoryMonth
