Vanderbilt Programming Board’s Music Group

Favorite Program Board Memory: My favorite memory on Music Group was definitely during my freshman year on the group. Looking onto my school’s Alumni Lawn during Steve Aoki’s headlining set and seeing it completely transformed helped solidify my goal to work in booking live entertainment after college. It was an amazing feeling to have helped put on such a big event.

One Piece of Advice for Incoming Student Leaders: My main piece of advice would be to stay organized and not procrastinate. This makes things much easier on you, your programming board, and alleviates some dreaded week-of-show stress.

Post-Grad Plans: After graduation, I will be working in William Morris Endeavor’s music department in their New York office.

What song reminds you of the past year? Why? The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s “I Feel It Coming” reminds me of the past year. Since its release last Fall, this song has never failed to put me in a good mood. I’ve tried to cherish every moment of my last year of college and this song makes me think of the good times I’ve had throughout my senior year.
