I think Jaboukie Young-White is going to have an amazing year. He’s gotten big writing positions on Netflix shows American Vandal and Big Mouth, and he is starting to get roles in front of the camera, briefly in Netflix original movie Set It Up (’18) and now as a correspondent at the Daily show. He has such a passionate fanbase of over 100k followers on twitter already and over the past two years he has won over skeptics who were not sure how his brand of internet humor would translate to actual stand-up. Also, he’s a really nice guy.
